Default Why is the Linux LimeWire so hideous compared to the MacOSX version?

In the MacOSX screenshots from limewire.com i see a beautiful UI and lots of pretty buttons, in my actual Linux version of 2.8.4, I see ugly buttons, ugly tabs, and it looks nothing like the windows and MacOSX versions. Shouldn't they all look the same?
