![]() I was just wondering about what has been said lately in the news about shareware, that anyone downloading music without paying for it will possibly get a fine with these people checking IP address in seeing how much music you have downloaded and then give you a fine based on how much. Is this any kind of concern for Lime Wire since I have downloaded hundreds of songs and albums, etc. Plus I have notice that there are not as many downloads out there anymore since this announcement in the news. Can you let me know if I continue to use LW that I will not have these problems. I was just going to buy LW pro when this hit, so now I'm not sure if I should buy LW pro if I run the risk of being fined for downloading music. ![]() |

![]() You shouldn't have to worry b/c gnutella is not a main risk for right now. So far all the RIAA have gone after is private protocols and fasttrack. It should be okay for a lil longer |
