Limewire ChangeLog All, I can't seem to find any sort of changelog for the Limewrire client on the website or bundled with the download. Without this document I'm never sure if or when it would be worth my while upgrading my local installation. Does such a document exist? |
No. |
Trap_jaw's right again :p I'll offer a less efficient answer: some of us have asked for a changelog for quite a while, but the developers have been sympathetic but look to be too busy, well, developing. Sometimes people like trap_jaw find ways to keep up on the code changes in the mailing lists for core cvs or gui cvs . Other times the developers will post a summary in this forum. Yes--I'd like to see regular changelogs too. It's pretty irritating trying to track down something that may be a bug only to find it's been identified and fixed. Cheers--and thanks, trap_jaw, for the laugh. |
Ho hum ;) Cheers guys. |
Mind you, not having changelogs always looks a bit like people don't actually do anything. I guess if something really valuable is added, it will be anounced in the forum, I'll just skip all the other minor releases. |
