multi-user message

Adam(?) Forum person:

I downloaded the installer and received a message that "multi users" cannot open the software unless done so by an owner. I paid 9.50 for the internat download and I am oblivious to the meaning of this message. I am using a 6500 Mac OS 8.6. Please assist.
