Note to Solaris X86 users Sun has released a patch 108941-56, which will break the X windows libraries used by java and LimeWire. Do not install this patch. I believe it has or will be recalled within a day.
If you have already installed this patch, there should be a replacement patch available on Sun's support site to fix the problem. Or if your system saves the previous patches, you can just roll the patch back one level.
108941-49 is known to work, and I think that 108941-54 also will work. Certainly a new patch will be out soon, as quickly as Sun can address and test the problem. Because of the severity of the problem, I would expect a update patch (rather than a temporary rollback patch) within a few days.
I suspect this recent change also applies to Sun Sparc, in patch 108940-xx, corresponding to the X86 patch. Watch for a new version in the next few days on sunsolve.sun.com.
