Well there's a new feature that I really don't like! Would much rather see file suffixes than those icons. Can't see any preferences or anything that allows changing this; you might consider this as a future enhancement.

Are you seeing the actual icon for the file type, or is every result the same icon?

..... Correct! For one thing, I don't know the associated icon for every different
file type. And, at the size they're rendered, can hardly tell them apart.

What about in the downloads, uploads and library?

We'll most likely add an option to turn the icons off (because they look pretty bad on Linux & Mac Classic).

The icons (when correctly drawn) do look pretty good though. Would it be better if the size of the icons were larger (ie: the height of the rows were larger)?

please don't force the lines to be higher. Using the default OSX theme the lines are high enough (maybe too high).

cntrl-clicking allows turning off the icons column in the library pane--this looks to be a good and consistent way of handling icons in the other panes.

I agree w/stief on both counts: maintain same size lines as now (at least) and add control-click to the other panes.
