Default Complete Changelog

In response to the popular demand, we have compiled a complete changelog for LimeWire, ranging from version 1.5 (released on 7.3.2001) to the most current version!

See how far LimeWire has progressed at the LimeWire changelog.

Thanks!

nice! That's a lot of work that will be much taken for granted, but still appreciated by a few!

I note that the changelog is fully inserted into a
element; this means that lines don't wrap by default.
You could fix it to make it more readable (without scrolling horizontally), by adding a few line breaks in long lines or
elements.
As the text will be rendered in fixed-width fonts, you can do this easily in your text editor.
Thanks for readers...

Thanks a lot. I'm sure you would have received such comments from others. Better soon than later.

Will it be difficult to keep the changelog current?

Again--much appreciated.

Nope, it's pretty easy... it's just that there's not much to put into it for service releases (such as the 4.0 series). Seeing "Fixed NullPointerException in javax.swing.RepaintManager", "Fixed ConcurrentModificationException in ...", "Ignored IllegalStateException in...", etc... isn't all too exciting. There'll be changes once we start work on 4.1 / 4.2.

True, but changelogs that document even minor changes are so much more authoritative and useful . . . . especially when an apparent bug appears.

Since new versions will highlight the interesting and major changes, aren't changelogs supposed to be mundane

FWIW, http://www.lemkesoft.com/en/graphversionsueb.htm is the best example that comes to mind.

Plus, new downloaders will be puzzled if they don't see the latest version number at the top of the list
