hi,
i am running limewire pro 4.9.30 and there seems to be a lot of bugs in the program. i leave it running 24/7 usually however every day i am getting 'internal error' reports, the program interface doesn't load up properly once 4.9.30 has been minimised (all i get is a grey backgound), often it is unable to resume downloads after i have exited (i have to exit and restart so i can see the user interface) and also the program seems to freeze a lot resulting in me again closing and restarting.

The same happened when i first installed 4.9.29, leaving me with no option but to reinstall 4.8.1 which was fine.


oh and 1 last thing after it has been running for a few hours, it just slows my computer down to rediculous levels, takes like 7 minutes to open up 'my documents', which it is doing now

This is not an uncommon complaint. and I don't really know the solution. I use .29, (for Mac) and I have a reasonably unique share which is about 3000 files. so is in pretty steady demand. I had reduced my upload limit to three files at a time, which seemed to help, but since I put it up to 4 and forgot to reduce it again, I have been having similar but not so drastic slowdowns. Also I tend to not leave it on for too long. A quick re-boot after several hours can be a good idea.

.30 is a fairly hungry beast and some people have been able to go back to .28 or .29 and find that things are much better. I think you must be using Windows, so dont ask me for help in that respect as I can't give it!
