On my personal download page there is no reference to pro beta anywhere. Anyone know where to find it-? if no one knows thats ok - i sent an email to them.

What makes beta better then regular lime pro?
Whats it offer?
thanks

The beta is the next version which is tested by the users, to discover bugs. But its only recommended for user with experience because there might be bugs and sometimes the betas are unstable. That is the reason why they call it a beta and not a final version, just wait a few days/weeks until they release the final version.

I don't think there is a new beta version for 4.2+ yet. Actually I've found the beta versions have often solved many people's problems. Sure there can be unknowns in betas. And before trying out each of the LW betas from 4.1.4 onwards, I was very wary of betas of other programs. But as I said to you earlier, these ones have/had been very good. Probably best to stick to the official releases unless you start having problems or there's great improvements as there had been with the last series of betas.

Default kazaa plus lime

well i finally did it- the simple computer upgrade i set out to do oh-a month ago. Must learn to manage time more efficiently. thanks,

Enchantingly enough though, the problem i upgraded to ellude remains. I "filter" out keywords but still get them in my searchresults.
I try to go to C:/Documents And Settings/your_username/.limewire to delete my preferences but my computer says it cant find it.

is my username something other then what i think it is- (the name under which the rest of my settings and documents are stored under, not jemmiffer)
do i put the _ between first and last name?
what wrong?

Also, I use dietk/kazaa as well as Lime, and i wanna get emule. Could using 2 file share programs be causing problems in general? I can never find the files i want.

Nothing wrong with running 2 p2p apps. But highly recommended not to run them at the same time. If you're dwnlding videos & with types like torrent where you need to upd as much as you dwnld, then you really are going to be splitting the bandwidth. Most p2p apps run on different ports - though Gnutella tend to be similar if not the same. I might get corrected there. lol

I don't know about the windows issues.

Its no technical problem if you donīt find the files you want.

eMule is good for videos and games Gnutella and Kazaa are good for music.
