LOTS of problems with 4.2.6

Hi. I just downloaded the new 4.2.6 and have had nothing but problems. It's EXTREMELY slow and then after about 5 minutes just stops responding but stays connected. I can't preview songs, I keep getting an error message saying the file is corrupt but it works fine on my Windows Media Player. I have downloaded the latest Java and deleted the .limewire file. I have tried restarting my computer. I have a broadband connection and am using Windows XP Home (SP2). Thanks for any help....Jessica
