Default You Can Help

Hey guys, the progammers need help. If you would download the Limewire debug program, install it to your Program Files>>Limewire folder and run LimeWire from the Command window You could get a stack trace report when this happens. You need to know a little DOS to do this, but, if you can, I know Zab and Et Voila are looking for these.

Zab reverted a change in the CVS that solves the Disk error problem I believe.
http://www.limewire.org/fisheye/chan...20050728082853 LW should release 4.9.10 today to fix the issue, again Zab should confirm that.

deacon72: well I'm happy that people report stack traces for bugs, but I'm not a LW dev like Zab, so Zab is the one REALLY looking for them

Same problem here, infact I think it has something to do with 'File corrupt' as well. First time I got this error ever, and Ive used alot of Limewire over the past few years.

All in all, 4.9.9 Pro beta seems to be a step down over the previous other versions, due to this error.

Also, regarding File curroption detection, is there any way to block all these bad ip ranges, without manually inputing. As in is there any way of using peer guardian (or other) integrated into limewire?

That's true. The Disk Error problem will be gone in the next beta, and we'll have it out asap.
