The reason I did not answer the other was I wasn't clear on what you were asking. There is no 4.9.11 that is not a beta that I know of. The difference between pro and regular is with pro you get 5 and regular you get 4 connections in leaf mode, which give you better search results and most of the time better DL speeds. Due to the fact you usually get more people to DL from depending on the popularity of the file. Obviously if it is a very popular file the regular LW will get as many connections because there are allot of people with the file who will be available to DL from. In ultrapper mode I really haven't noticed much difference between the too. There is one thing some people say they notice no difference between pro and regular I have a feeling allot of these people are using dial-up. And with dial-up you are only going to get X amount of kb download due to bandwidth limitations of dial-up no matter how many people are connected to you. And people using dial-up should never connect as an ultrapper it will majorly affect your ability to download. Hope this answers your question. |

Thankyou very much guys. You've been very helpful. On a sidenote for whatever it's worth, the new version of PRO, 4.9.11, (which I've just downloaded and installed, Thanks Deacon) does not let you change filenames in the library. It always says that the file is in use by another application when it's not. I know I can still do it with windows explorer though. I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place to bring that up. I just thought I'd let you guys know. |
