I heard that MS05-025 (6/14/05) Windows Update resets the TCP limit.(for those of us that had disabled it). The workaround program can be found here: http://mitglied.lycos.de/lvllord/download-mirror.htm Instructions - Download, unzip and run. To change it back to "unlimited" Type "C", then "16777214", press Enter, type "Y" and finally Enter again. A "Windows File Protection" window will come up, ignore this by selecting "Cancel" then "Yes" and Reboot. This warning is normal since you are editing a protected system file. Shawn |

Totally agree...nothing officially endorsed... but it is a known problem with XP since SP1. I had no idea until i did some goggle research that this recent windows update again set the TCP limit at 10. Im going to reinstall the patch when I get home tonight. Shawn |
