I just tried to close LW Beta in OSX and it minimises but won't close. ADownload, search and Monitor windows are all clear. Disconnect is on and Internet was off. This seemed to be a problem before with the mac version, but as long as everything was clear it closed fine. this is after having Beta for24 hrs, and closing it twice without problem.

Otherwise no problems so far.

You mean clicking on the red x button? It hides LW on purpose, just like an app like safari where the app is open while you close a window. I tried the file -> exit menu and LW 4.9.19 on os x 10.4.2 closes as usual.

No ..et voil.. I mean Limewire>Quit Limewire. I found that by changing preferences to Quit imediately and not after transfers would make it possible to close, which makes me think that Limewire still thinks it is up/downloading ...could be a one off, we'll see.

I model before yours I think .. (but my ageing G3 is not, it seems, able to install Tiger)

Limewire 4.9.18 Basic on OSX 10.3.9

just tried under 10.3.9 with 4.9.19. I changed shutdown option to after transfers, apply the rechanged to close immedialty, apply. I had uploads going on but LW closed instantly. Maybe with downloads going on...
