Confusing notices Immediately after downloading and Installing I was hit with an update message. I was under the impression that I was purchaseing the current version when I paid 47.29 usd. But wanting I went ahead with the purchase of the upgrade to V4.9 with payment through PayPal for 18.88 USD. When downloading the update it turned out to be the same version I had already purchased 4.8.1. I have received conformation of both of my purchases so my e-mail address is in their system. However when I try and contact Customer Support I am asked for my e-mail address and when I enter the same address as my conformation e-mails were sent a message displays that it "is not a valid LimeWire PRO email. Try again with a different email address". Unless I am missing something these people are hideing from their customers and or neglecting their web site. If someone has their ear at Lime Wire please forward this. I am not intending to start a Flame but need to make contact and get some answers. TIA WCM |

From Lime Wire's web site http://www.limewire.com/english/content/home.shtml $47.29 and then $18.88 for the supposed upgrade... |

Doubtful you will find a number on a message board. There would be a million people calling it from around the world. Have you run the spy sweep and virus sweep yet? Do that first. Then see if your email works on this page? http://www.limewire.com/sales/englis...pro_lookup.jsp If not, you were re-routed somewhere else, and should have your those charges refused by your bank if you can. |
