As per the screen invitation from Limewire I elected to update to the new .30 version which seemed to go well until I kept getting messages about updating to 'pro'. I was already on 'pro' with the previous installation but went through the routine of installing the 'new'(?) pro but all that happened was that it removed the new .30 version and reverted me back to what I had originally. Not only that but I was unable to log on to Forums because name, password, email address were reported as being invalid (though not changed by me) and email via other means was returned as 'unable to deliver'.

I hope you're not getting the official LimeWire site (LW) & the Gnutella forums confused. They are not the same. This is a forum that caters for many p2p gnutella network programs. To be sure of getting your pro version update, go to your personal pro downld page & downld it from there. I'm sure you bookmarked it after receiving the link for it from customer support. That's what most people do.

Thank you LOR for the advice: I have followed the route you suggested (instead of going via the' update now' icon from Limewire) and am pleased to say the update to .30 Pro went smoothly.
