Help....me.....please

im pissed cause i cant get this **** off my computer i already uninstalled limewire but there are about 50 still on my computer that will not remove off my damn computer... so please someone help me....

Also....

i keep getting this error report from java (keep in mind i do not have limewire installed on my computer)

The way to remove LW from your computer is go to the Start menu>Programs>LW>Uninstall. However, if you used the add/remove control panel then AFAIK you'll not completely uninstall LW. And that leaves you in a bit of a mess.

Perhaps you should install a new version which will "hopefully" uninstall the remaining components of the previous LW at the beginning of the installation process.

I'd suggest you use the "offline" installers for both LW & Java in future. It looks as though either LW or Java didn't install correctly. BTW Java installer links can be obtained from point #1 here: Fixes for Limewire BTW sometimes one version of Java doesn't work well on some people's computer configurations so using either Java 1.4.2 or 1.5 will overcome those issues. Since you have Java 1.5, you 'might' be better to go for Java 1.4.2 But to do that, you'd 1st use your Add/Remove programs control panel to remove Java 1.5 before installing 1.4.2
