On Linux it is ./limwire. I have completely removed it before each upgrade. Tried installing it to another directory tree. I even created a new user account and tried installing it there(no luck). Thats why I moved to the beta section. I thought maybe somebody up the chain might notice. Thanks Lazlow |

Yeah, thats kind of what I am doing now. I have it set at 12KB/s so it stays 38-44KB/s. (some days it stays at 12)Just low enough it does not knock my downloads offline. It still makes me feel guillty. And I wounder how women manipulate me so easily. Just call me putty. Thanks Lazlow |

Thx to "only a hobo" and others for your suggestions.Have deleted.limewire file, and tried other measures but doesn't fix the problem.Crazy thing is,nothing works as it should.Can disconnect and shut down LM but uploads just keep going!Came home late,somehow had been reconnected even though LM was shut down and had 15 uploads and 8 waiting!.Only way to stop it is to unplug my Ethernet connection! |
