I really have no idea what could flag any script in the installer as malicious. The installer may very well automatically delete registry entries of your old LimeWire versions, but that's about the extent of it. Deleting registry entries is a standard part of many installs and is definitely not malicious. That's the type of operation that the registry was invented for (dynamically storing application settings). |

If it helps, here's a <a href="http://www.geocities.com/compupc1/badlimewire.jpg">screenshot</a>: This behavior only started with 2.2.0, I believe (and continues in 2.2.1). I don't know why this happens, because no other programs that upgrade trigger stuff like this. I believe you that it's not harmful but it still is an annoyance for those with Norton Antivirus 2002.
