![]() I couldn't figure out which forum to ask this in, but since I'm running the latest beta software I figured I'd ask in here. Since loading the beta I've suddenly started acting as an Ultrapeer. I'm not sure I really have the bandwidth for that, but that's a different issue. I'm wondering if someone could explain exactly what the "dropped" column represents on the connection screen. I know it refers to dropped messages, but I can't figure out who dropped what and whether it's actually a bad thing. At the very least, could someone explain which of the two columns represents bad behavior on the part of my node? |

![]() If it spikes allot (100% every 5 sec) your connection isn't fast enough . Try opening les connections It is indeed confusing where to choke point is : Upload or download . The maual doesn't state this clearly either . |

![]() I know big numbers mean somebody isn't handling the traffic, but I can't figure out who. I'll sometimes see the "I" number spike, sometimes the "O" number. The question is, does "100%/0%" in the dropped column mean that my client isn't keeping up or does it mean the guy on the other end of the connection isn't keeping up? |

![]() the O stands for Output : leaving connections The I means Input : arriving connections Doesn't matter in wich direction it spikes , basic rule apllies : If the connection goes shitty , dump it . |
