Torrents: interrupted downloads Hi all. Due to a crash on my pc I had to re-install all my previous programmes including Limewire. A number of torrents which were previously in an advanced state of download were left intact in Limewire's "Incomplete" folder. Now that I have re-installed a fresh copy of Limewire, is there any way I can get it to continue these downloads where it had left off? I tried moving them to the new "Incomplete" folder ... but it seems with no luck as nothing has appeared in the download progress window! Any help would be most appreciated. |

If the folder and file names for the data are the proper names and not the mumble jumble Limewire used to name them, then you can use any proper torrent client like Torrent - a (very) tiny BitTorrent client or Vuze: The most powerful bittorrent client in the world. to download the exact torrents again, then recheck the data and download the rest needed to complete them. Edit: or as LOTR pointed out. try reloading the torrent files in Limewire if you haven't done so. I thought you already had tried that from your post. |
