![]() I used to use Limewire Pro 4.8.1 on WinXP Professional with a 2.3mbps connection, and whenever I connected to the Gnutella network I would always be an Ultrapeer (30+ connections) with all the perks: blazing fast downloads, excellent search results and the like. However, since I've been running Limewire (same version) on WinXP Home I am always a leaf node, warts and all: sluggish downloads, awful search results etc. Now, according to the Ultrapeer Election Criteria (http://www.limewire.com/developer/Ultrapeers.html) my computer must have the following:

![]() could be. Easiest check is to see if you can accept incoming connections in the bug reports. THe LW 4.10 series changed the requirements for ultrapeers, but it looks like your connection should be fast enough |
