I want to make a shortcut to my shared folder. It can be found by pressing the explore button in limewires' library.

after you pressed the explore button in Limewire, go to the Windowsfolder that popped up. (I'm assuming you use Windows. You did not say which OS you use)

Beside the forward/back arrows there is a folder with an arrow pointing up. Press that and you go to the folder where your saved folder is located. Then just right-click on your saved folder and choose "make shortcut"

Drag the shortcut wherever you like.

If you have the folder up all the time you have to update it for the downloads that have just finished to appear in it

just rightclick while inside of folder and press update

Spot on.But don't forget i know it sounds really obvious if you delete a file [mp3 ect] it won't be on limewire no longer.
