I don't know what i'mdoing wrong but i download music from limewire and it gets its own desktop item and if i hide the icon it removes my music completely from windows media player and my limewire library is ther any thing i can do to keep my music and not the desktop icons? I just lost hundreds of songs and any help would be great.

Sure ... get iTunes & learn a new set of problems. At least more logical & practical to work with!
