Could anybody give me any advice on how to download a dvd film correctly !!!!
I have no trouble finding films,,, and they download ok,, might take overnight, but it downloads,,,, but,,,,i have found that each time i have opened a downloaded film,,,, i wont play on anything,,, or if it does,,, its just the audio,, and not the film itself.

My pc is pretty much top range,, very fast ect,,,i have decent tv card,, 3 different types of dvd playing software ( tried all ),,am very frustrated,, i havent been successful once with a full film,,,, not once.
Have managed to successfully download short 20 min guitar tutorials and suchlike,, and they play fine,, no problems,,,its just films and dvds,,,

Am fine with music files and documents etc,, but its just films/dvds,,,

Please help,,,,,i am going nuts over this.

Not being able to play certain file types indicates some codecs issues....
You can try and download the free VLC player with built-in codecs which can play almost all files without problem. I run it by myself and I haven't had one fiole so far I couldn't play with it (including DVD files).:
