how to change media player?
 

Okay i have 2 questions.. First off limewire is using windows media player when i play a video, because i just completed installing windows media player. I want limewire to use the player it was using before i installed windows media player. Is this possible? For question # 2 is it possible to get limewire to repeat tracks automaticly? Please respond:)

The integrated LW player can only play music files. For videos it will choose your default player (and has done so in the past afaik).

I saw in the new LW a "shuffle and continous play" function. Go to the Library tab and look at the bottom. If it ain't there, go to Tool>Option>Player and tick the square for "use LimeWire media player"

okay but how do i change my defualt player (for windows xp)

Well the easiest way would be to download the free VLC player with built-in codecs which can play almost all files without any problem. When you install it, it will become automatically your default player:

If you have already another player, then right click a music file and choose "Open with....". Then "Choose a program". Take your favorite media program and tick in the lower left corner the square saying" Always use the selected program to open this files type"

how d i change it from real player to windows media player cause my real player doesnt work??

well i allready have a program (like you said) but i use it to put songs on my mp3 player. (i dont have an ipod) What i do is i click explore (on limewire) then i click play on the song i want to be on my mp3 player. it playes on the program (creative zen micro) and i can add to my mp3 player. But scince microsoft media player is installed as default it plays on microsoft media player instead of creative zen micro.If you have already another player, then right click a music file and choose "Open with....". Take your favorite media program and tick in the lower left corner the square saying" Always use the selected program to open this files type" Where do i right click a music file? on limewire? and sniper to change your default click start, all programs, then at the top choose set program acsess and defaults, then choose custom. It does not have my media player on there and i need to get it to custom.

The same way I explained in my post above. Of course, I meant to say right clicking on the music/ video file outside of LW, the place you've saved them.
