Default Itunes and limewire

Help. I just installed the latest version of Itunes and having some problems now between my shared folder and itunes. 1) When i add try to add multiple files to the library, itunes won't add them but i can add them one-by-one. Very slow process 2) I am also finding that after I add a song to itunes from the shared file and then delete it from the shared file, itunes can't play the song anymore. It's somehow not copied over to the library but reading the song from the shared folder. Before I updated itunes I didn't experience either one of these issues. I regret ever updating my itunes.

Any suggestions? I don't know what to do.
