options window too tiny

When I open the options window it comes up about 1/4 of the size needed, so I can see hints of available options, but not do anything with them. It doesn't allow for resizing or maximizing either. Can anyone offer a solution? limewire 4.12.6
Many thanx Your solution worked, many thanks. One more question, Limewire keeps closing itself at random times for no apparrent reason, any advice to stop this?
