once you actually found the film you want to download is there any other means of telling that the movie is what it says it is. And also that it contains no virus. i no that you can check on bitzi for info. but if there is no information on this movie are there any other means of knowing that its a good and safe Copy to download.

No there isn't any other way of telling that info...All you can do is download it and preview it once it hits about 10%....If you actually go to your incomplete folder outside of limewire (to find it click on your incomplete file in your LW library and select explore) you can actually scan it for a virus by right clicking on the file and select your AV scan...Once you know that it has no virus you can then preveiw it...

That's why I suggested doing the AV scan from your incomplete folder before preveiwing it...

This sticky has info on how to stay safe...
WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of!

Hi 2Kool4Mod....Could you please edit out the files names as it's against the forum rules to mention anything that has copyright attached to it...

It sounds like you are having a codec issue, what you need to do is either download the correct codecs for the player you are using or download the VLC media player as it has all the codecs already installed and plays just about everything (it's free also)....
Have a look at this sticky it has the links to the downloads you want...

There ant no way to figure out if there is a virus only when you are done downloading a file you can scan it to see if it has a virus.
