Show incoming searches

How does the 'Show incoming searches' work? Here's why I ask:

(i) There must be more searches being executed than those displayed, so how does Limewire decide which to display and which not to?

(ii) Although I don't have many of the songs that are being displayed in the incoming searches, a lot of them have similar file names to songs I *do* have: is it a coincidence?
