searching for files!
 

Hi there,

Can someone give me a couple of tips on searching to get the most out of limewire.

Currently when I want to download something in general, say **********, when i enter it i get a whole host of files completely unrelated and very few that are actually related to what ive put in the search. Quite a few of these files are all a similar size, about 1,140kb or 8mb as well and they are all one or two words. This happens with all my searches. Also, when i click on a file to browse a host, the only files i can see from the host is a list of one worded files all the same size, which can't be right.

How can I make the most out of my searches and are all these files I see real ones or fakes?

Just be aware of what file sizes you should expect...a movie's roughly 600-700 MB & a TV episode's roughly half that size (depending on the length of the show). 1140kb & 8MB are just not right:p
Make sure that you use Bitzi to check video files. Also make sure that you have a good, up to date AV program & that you scan downloaded files before you open them.
