If someone wants to D/L something that I HAVE, how can i get them directly to my library? is there an IP address or something, or just tell them to search for the file name... I need some tips for this.

You can try direct connecting. For this to work, neither of you should see the firewall icon (brick wall in front of the blue globe) & you should both have chat enabled.

How do i direct connect with someone and how to i chat.. all i have is the chat enabled.

Erm...have a look at the thread I linked to

Go to the search page. Click on Direct Connect (below Keyword). You should see your IP address & LW's listening port number. If you don't see any info there, then you're firewalled & direct connect won't work. If that's the case, see here

If you see your IP address & listening port, you can give that info to someone & providing they aren't firewalled & have chat enabled, they should be able to enter your info into their LW & connect directly to your computer to browse your files.

Forget about chatting, it's pretty much broken. Having chat enabled is really only useful for direct connecting & browsing other hosts' files.

i have chat enabled on frostwire and i can chat, it all depends on whether the other person's side works, sometimes i get to talk to someone if they are there, sometimes it opens and sometimes it does not, however when it does work, it take a minute or two to come up..
