wat is da thing in monitor option????
is it da name of da user or name of file in the area where we see da incoming searches........i m confused bout dat!!!!
pklz tell me where can we see da nickname of da user..
and wat is significance of da entries in incoming searches .r they names of files or users!!!????

Monitor window is broken into 2 parts. Bottom part shows your uploads. Upper parts shows searches going thru your computer for files (you see the file search criteria.) If you are running in Leaf mode then most search traffic will have been filtered out for you by ultrapeers who you connect thru. It's best to disable this if you are connected as a leaf. If you are connected as an ultrapeer then you will see a lot of traffic searches. There are no nicks, IP no.'s are used.

Ultrapeers help others connect to the network & handles a lot more traffic. There's no switch which allows you to become one. If the network is in need of one then it will find users to become one. But, to be a U.P. you definitely must be properly configured so there are no firewalls blocking in & outgoing traffic. If you have free bandwidth & slots for up & down traffic & have a fast connection then your chances of becoming a UP are greatly enhanced. Advantages of UP are more connections, disadvantages are greater traffic that doesn't apply to you.

i want 2 tell u my experience!!!
i downloaded a file n then searched a file of same format but a diff. one .......
but 2 my surprise i found a file wid a diff. name was da same dat i downloaded first.......
y does dis happen .y some files on limewire have diff.. name but same data!!
how will we know then which file 2 download so dat we will not replicate da one we have!!!!
plz help!!!
