Hi all, first post on these forums.

Just a quickie.

I have had Limewire Pro for about 6 months now. When downloading movies & music I get a max of 10 hosts. My wife though using her own user profile on the same computer gets 14 hosts. We both use the same versions do how can this be?

Any tips on why this is happening will be much appreciated.

How many hosts you get depends on your connection speed. You can change the setting under tools...options...speed.

You may have to have it set to T3. I'm not sure that this will help you get faster downloads if you don't actually have a T3 (extremely fast, extremely expensive) connection.

I moved the setting from T1 to T3 & Higher as you said.

The first download I tried went straight upto 14 hosts instead of my usual 10 hosts and increased my download speed by about 40k!

P.S Does anyone know what the maximum amount of hosts you can get or has been gotten?
