Default how to cancel lots of downloads at once

I have never been able to get a large number of downloads to cancel; I can only get three or four, maximum, covered by the cursor, and then cancel them. Is there a way to cancel LOTS of downloads at once? Or possibly even ALL downloads - just wipe the whole slate clean?

Select one, then scroll down to the last one & select it whilst holding down the SHIFT key & all will be selected. You can also choose to cancel all those that are inactive. Remember, if you are going to do this with the downloads window then you should do it with the incomplete files in the incomplete folder. BUT, be very careful not to delete anything you are still downloading or wish to continue with.

Well, that particular technique doesn't work for me for some reason. It will only cover three or four selections, and then the covering disappears. I cover four, let's say, but if I try to go further, then none of them are covered and I have to start over.

Thanks, though.

Try higlighting one of them, & use Contol + A on your keyboard.

I have this same problem sometimes. I have solved it by dragging the cursor diagonally from the bottom left to the top right of the download box.
