![]() Is there a list of files and folders posted anywhere that contain any and all limewire download artifacts? I just started using limewire and want to make sure any "tracks" Limewire leaves get securely deleted.. Thanks! |

![]() Jimmy, your post is a little confusing. You say you just started using LW, but now you want to delete it?? To properly delete Limewire go to Start > All Programes > Limewire > Uninstall. Then go to Start > Search > All Files & Folders then type in Limewire and delete anything that it finds. You also might consider using CCleaner. CCleaner.com to clean up your computer. |

![]() I don't want to delete limeWire, just the artifacts that record any of my download activity. For instance the downloads.dat file that get created in a folder called "incomplete". This file has file names, IP addresses and some other download information on files that I attemped to download but for some reason the download did not complete. Seeing this file is what got me thinking about the security issues. Thanks |

![]() Jmi, I did come across this if it helps. Understanding downloads.dat - LimeWire Forums. Explans the downloads.dat file. |
