Connecting to other computers in home I have tried to connect to my other computer to get all my files to one computer, just doing a little cleaning up, but im not able to direct connect to other computers in my home but i am able to search and get only few of the files<----time consuming, can anyone help me figure out what i need to configure so i can direct connect to my other computers, firewalls are off, what else is there i need to do |

"firewalls are off" but do you see the firewall icon (brick wall in front of the blue globe) on either or both computers? If so, you won't be able to direct connect. If either or both computers are firewalled, please give us your system details. System details - help us to help you (click here) Both computers also need to have chat enabled (tools > options > chat). There's more info about direct connect here. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/139263-post3.html |
