Default Can't open old downloads!

hi all,

it used to happen in the past that sometimes when i used to start limewire, it would give me a prompt, 'sorry but limewire could not start your old downloads' meaning the files that i was downloading would be left in the middle. then the download section would be wiped clean, no record of the 91% progress of the file i was downloading.

a few days ago, i got a new laptop with windows vista. i copied every last thing from the desktop, including the limewire folder from program files. after installing limewire pro on windows vista, i chose the same folder on my USB drive for saving files. limewire started and gave me the prompt that i didnt have permissions to write to that folder and wiped my downloads clean.

i tried fixing, got me administrator rights, reinstalled limewire pro but nothing happened. i made the mistake i guess of accidentally replacing the downloads.dat file with the downloads.dat file of the newly installed limewire.

is there anyway to recover those downloads and continue?

sorry for the novel but i thought i'd explain the whole problem.

stay happy!

Default Recovering old downloads.

Click on library then incomplete files. Find the file that you were downloading before whatever interruption. Click on the file and then resume download. Whenever you actually connect then the file should quickly return to the previous progress % and then continue till the file has been downloaded completely.
