Cool Transfering Limewire music from one computer to another

I bought a new computer and i want to put the limewire songs from the old computer onto it, is that possible? It would be a pain searching for all the songs again.

Dakota, You'll have to do a backup to either an external HDD or a Flashdrive and dn/ld to new comp. Hope this helps.

Just get a Flash Stick or a External hard drive or a nother way is i think you can transfer all your data from one computer to a nother buy useing a USB cable might take a little longer to use but it will worked a little better than trying to buy a 80$ external drive.when you could buy a 9$ part and use it that way.

You need to know where you copied the files to. Within Itunes you also need to import or add folder to library. It's somewhere within the File menu.

Where are the files located on the old PC. If on a single folder, copy the entire folder to a flash drive, assuming there is enough space. If all over the place, do a wild search for the audio files (MP3, .RA, .WAV...), then copy them to a single folder in your flash drive.

What's going to happen to the old PC. If it's going to the scrap yard, you an try something a bit more technical. Pull the drive out and add it as a second drive to your new PC. You can also get an external case which makes the old drive become an external USB drive. And it's probably cheaper than a high capacity flash drive, but not as expensive as an actual external drive. I would say about $20-30. You can then start cleaning up the old drive and leave the music and other files behind.
