how to make limwire as low key as possible (college student)

i was wondering 1) how to make limewire invisible or nearly so to the admins or any other authority that might fine me/kick me off the network. 2) also, does the proxy setting under preferances help at all?

how should i go about hiding the nature of my downloads and the actual downloading itself?
