SLOW downloads.

Hi all.
I have been an ed2k/emule user for years but the ed2k servers seem to be going down like hotcakes (and the Kad network aint too hot on it's own) and Im now finding it difficult to even connect.

I have just started using Limewire cos of this and am finding the download speeds very slow compaired to emule, over the same connection.

Where I was getting speeds of up to 20kb + with emule, Im finding speeds of less than 8 or 9kb on Limewire from the same number of sources. Far too long for my liking . . . .

Is there any way of improving download speeds in Lime wire?

I understand that speeds do depend on the type of connection the host has, but it's still mighty slow for my liking.

Any help with configuring Limewire for optimun performance would be appreciated.
