Default Changing Video Player

Does anyone know how to change the default video player? Mine opens with winvideo and I would like to change it to media player.

Thanks

Find your files in windows(not LW). The default location is C:\Documents and Settings\"you account Name"\Shared.

The easy way to find it is to start limewire and go to the library page, click on your shared folder and click the explore button. A window will open with your shared folder in it.

Open up the folder. Right click on one of your audio files and click on Properties > then click on "Change" > choose the player you want to use from the list > click OK > Apply > OK.

See: Setting Default video app

What's your os(vista, xp, mac)? What type of files are they(avi, mpg, ect)? Do they play if you launch them from your shared folder in windows, not LW? What player are you using?

Will they play if you start them from your shared folder with LW shut down?

They maybe fakes. Try checking files with Bitzi Web Lookup. Open LW and go to your library page, right click on one of your video files and go to Advanced > Look up File with Bitzi. See if it has been rated, if they haven't been rated then they're probably fake.
