Two Different Totals for Search Results displayed on Results Tab Sometimes when I search, the Results Tab has two totals for the # of results next to the search criteria. Like this: tom sawyer rush 856/963. Can anyone tell me why this is? And how does it help me? Thanks in advance for your reply &/or help!! |
The number in the # column (number of identical versions of the file) counts towards the total search results. So if you had a total of 10 results showing, but only 2 lines on the results page , each with 5 in the # column - there's your 10 results. Are you using All Types when you search?? If so then you might be seeing two types of Media, say Audio/Documents. Then the results would look like this. 200/would be Audio. Then /205 would be total # of files found. The difference would be 5 Documents that it found. 200/205. Hope this helps |
