Default Turn off default torrent files (OS X)
I'm on OS X and just downloaded limewire, and now it wants to be the default program for my .torrent files, but I use transmission for that. How can I change it back so transmission is my default, because I can't find a preference option for either.

That is controlled by your OS. Sorry, I only do windows.

See How to change default program in OSX (click on blue link) ... which has an example for Azureus, you can simply change that to Transmission.
