downloading a file to a cd from?

Can someone please help me?

I'm trying to download a file I've download from limewire on to a CD and it says "insert disk into drive" but I've put the disk into each drive on my computer and it wont download to either. Can anyone help?

You cannot download to a CD. You can download to your computer, then burn the files to the CD later. ;) If an audio cd is desired, then choose audio cd format (not mp3 format) on your cd burner program. :)

A CD is not like a hard disk drive.
