network sharing with Itunes I recently updated my limewire but now it seems like even after i configure limewire to share with my itunes my limewire library will show up on the left side of itunes but no music is present...is this a limewire issue or an itunes issue? |
The LimeWire list you see in iTunes under the Playlist is a playlist which usually consists of most recently downloaded music. I'm not sure at what point songs may disappear from this list. If you updated LW, this list might appear empty. Under the Shared heading of iTunes, this LW shared list might also appear empty after a LW update. * I noticed i lost the shared list after updating to iTunes 10 from iTunes 9 on my Windows XP. This 'might' be some kind of bug on LW's part. I will report this. On OSX the LW shared is still full however all songs shared in there are in the iTunes library, not from the LW download folder. * Edit: I have filed a Bug Report for this issue which seems to specifically apply to the iTunes 10 update. This is not the first time an iTunes update has affected LW's ability to communicate with iTunes |
It seems this was an iTunes 10.0 Bug. This is fixed in an iTunes 10.0.1.22 update. :) |
thanks a ton that worked. Cheers |
