Possible work around for Mac OS X Jaguar install After many attempts with different methods, including, permission checks, installing as root, removing and re-installing.... I downloaded the zip file from my PC rather than my mac, copied the .zip file over and manually extracted it using stuffit expander (not deluxe). A program called OpenUp had been decompressing the download before. If you don't have a PC, try saving the file with a bogus extension to cancel auto decompress. After doing it the manual way it worked. May work for others. |
