Limwire 2.7.9 CRASHES IN JAG install, exec

This is ridiculous. Why won't somebody make a decent file sharing program for the mac?

1) LimeWire Installer uncompressed and launched.

2) Limewire install window appears. Already something is wrong -- the install window has only the stupid tool water droplet background image and a language choice popup. Everything else is blank space.

3) I choose english and proceed.

4) I get a normal looking introduction window and click next.

5) I am asked to choose where I would like to install. I click "choose..".

INSTALLER CRASHES.

6) I force quit and relaunch. This time i get to that same step and let IT CHOOSE.

7) I let it create an alias and continue.

8) I continue with the (useless, time wasting) "pre install summary"

9) Congratulations! it says. (another waste of time screen)

10) Despite the fact i requested a desktop alias, it is NOWHERE TO BE FOUND.

11) I run the program from its location in the app folder.


PROGRAM CRASHES ON SPLASH SCREEN.


f*ck this bullsh*t. I'm booting up my pc and running morpheus.
