![]() I'm using OS 10.2.2, downloading mpeg files just fine, but can't launch! Error window opens saying "cannot open file because software component needed by movie could not be found. What's going on? |

![]() Quicktime (even v6) is still irritatingly useless at playing PC formats like .avi. The easiest answer is to use Video Lan Client. Once you have it installed. Put an alias of it in the Dock or on the desktop and whenever a vid doesn't work in Quicktime, drag it over the vlc icon. |

![]() downloaded vic and put it in my dock. The program opens fine, but doesn't do anything! Cursor races from start to end, quite uneventful. Did I install it correctly? I can watch video clips from cd (originating from a pc). Am I doomed to never see shared video? I am humble in asking anyone and everyone to please HELP!!!!! |
