![]() You'd have to ask your administrator to open up port 6346 to your computer. There's no other way of doing this, unless you happen to have control of your firewall, in which case you can do it yourself, and you wouldn't need to ask. There's really no way around this. If your campus blocks the gnutella port, than they block it, and the only way to get around it is to unblock it. I suppose...throwing something out here, if you portscanned yourself, and saw which ports WERE open, you might be able to force your IP from that port and listen on that port as well. Does anyone else think this could work? This of course, assumes that a port IS open. Are you able to transfer files using AIM? If so, that means 5190 port is open. Anyone think this could work? |
